FAA closes investigation into 2nd flight of SpaceX’s Starship megarocket

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has closed the investigation into the second flight of SpaceX’s big Starship car, the company introduced this afternoon (Feb. 26).

That check mission, which launched from SpaceX‘s Starbase web site in South Texas on Nov. 18, ended with a bang. Two bangs, really: Each of Starship‘s phases exploded excessive above Earth, round 3.5 minutes and eight minutes after liftoff, respectively.
